Sunday crash claims life in Wyoming
A three-car crash in the heart of downtown Wyoming on Sunday has claimed the life of a Stacy man.
Jerome L. Peltier, 84, was killed when the 1993 Subaru Legacy he was driving was involved in a collision at 12:17 p.m. at the intersection of US-61 and CR-22.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Peltier was northbound on US-61 and turning left on CR-22 when his vehicle collided with a vehicle southbound on US-61. The crash sent Peltierís car into the path of a third vehicle.
Stella Peltier, 83, a passenger in the Subaru, received incapacitating injuries in the crash, the State Patrol said.
The southbound vehicle, a 1994 Chevrolet Suburban, was driven by Jackie A. Cooper, 60, of Milton, FL. Cooper was treated for possible injuries. A passenger in Cooperís vehicle, Beverly D. Cooper, 50, received non-incapacitating injuries in the crash, according to police reports.
Kari M. Olson, 26, of Chisago City, the driver of the third vehicle, received no apparent injuries, police records indicate. Olson was driving a 1996 Buick Regal.
The State Patrol said road conditions were wet at the time of the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
