Ben Montzka files for reelection

Ben Montzka of Wyoming has filed for reelection to a four-year term on the Chisago County Board representing District 4. ìI am looking forward to serving another term as your county commissioner from Wyoming, Wyoming Township, Stacy and part of Chisago City,î he said. I was the first candidate to file for the seat and have already been visiting with many of you at community events and in your homes. I am excited about the 2006 campaign, as it gives me wonderful opportunities to meet the great people of our area and hear your opinions and concerns. If reelected Montzka said he will continue to work for county improvements in the areas of roads and transportation, public safety, libraries, the environment, taxes and spending at the county level and economic development in the county and the Kettle River Bike Trail. Montzka says he also remains a supporter of plans for the consolidation of Wyoming and Wyoming Township and backs the ongoing planning for a new county jail. Montzka is owner of Montzka Legal Services in Wyoming and has practiced law for 18 years. Montzka and his wife Emily are the parents of three children.
