Small business owner, Cub Scout committee chair and District 831 School Board Member Rob Rapheal has filed for the Minnesota House in District 52A. ìAs a school board member I have fought for our local schools without excuses because I believe that providing kids with a good education must be the top priority of a community,î he said. ìIn the legislature I will put that same optimism and energy into reducing the time we spend in traffic and making healthcare affordable and accessible.î Rapheal ran for the seat two years ago, personally knocking on over 8000 doors and getting to know the concerns of families in the district which covers Linwood, Columbus, Forest Lake, Scandia, Lino Lakes, Centerville and Hugo. Rapheal lives in Scandia with his family: wife Kim, daughter Erica (11), and son David (7). The couple runs Rapheal Consulting, a software consulting business.
