Larson appointed to watershed board
The Washington County Board of Commissioners on Aug. 22 reappointed New Scandia Township resident Dennis Larson to the Comfort Lake-Forest Lake Watershed District Board of managers. Larson will serve a three-year term. Watershed districts provide for the protection of ground water and regulate groundwater use through flood control; improvement of stream channels; reclaiming or filling wet or overflow lands; controlling water supply for irrigation and other methods.
