Absentee voting is now possible for the Sept. 12 primary for area residents who will be away on voting day. As of Monday, ballots are now available for registered voters. Citizens needing to vote by absentee ballot may vote in person during the 30 days prior to the election at the Washington County Government Center in Stillwater or the county service center in Woodbury. Residents of Forest Lake, Hugo and Scandia may vote in person at their respective city halls or town hall. Voter registration is also possible at all county facilities and city/town facilities.
