The city of Forest Lake is accepting applications for its Downtown Broadway Design Review Committee. This committee is expected to be actively involved in design review with the Lake Street/West Broadway roundabout project in addition to the downtown streetscape upgrades scheduled for next year. It is expected that the design review committeeís role will be expanded to include oversight in developing design standards for the US-61 and TH-97 commercial corridors within the city, as well as its similar current role in the downtown and W. Broadway commercial corridors. Anyone interested in being a Downtown Broadway Design Review member should submit a letter of intent to the city of Forest Lake, Attention: Chantal Doriott, 220 N. Lake St., Forest Lake, MN 55025. Letters will be accepted until 4:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 22.
