Florence O. Thorp
Florence Oline Thorp, 96, of Wyoming, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 7 at Faith Lutheran Church, 886 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
She is survived by sons, John (Nancy) Thorp, and Charles Thorp; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brother Ole (Barb) Bjerkesett; sister Elizabeth Meissler; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Ashley C. Bennett; second husband Oscar Thorp; sons Henry Bennett and Ashley Bennett; three brothers and three sisters; and one grandson.
