The Washington County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, Feb. 7 approved a joint powers agreement with Scott and Dakota counties to collaborate on a telephone survey of residents. The three counties will be asking selected residents about their opinions and knowledge of a variety of county services. Questions range from inquiries about residentsí access to county services to questions related to specific Washington County issues. By working together, the three counties will be able to compare their data across county boundaries and will also save thousands of dollars over what it would cost to implement a survey alone.
