The ISD 831 Board of Education has scheduled two meeting dates so far this month to discuss plans for a possible excess operating property tax levy vote this fall. Meetings have been set for 7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 7 and 7 p.m., Monday, Feb. 13 at the District Office Building, 6100 N. 210th St. The school board conducted one meeting in January to begin the process of determining plans for the renewal of the existing $6 million operating levy that has one year remaining before it expires on June 30, 2007. Subsequent meeting this month or in March have not been set.
