Columbus Township is one step closer to having a well to provide water to the freeway corridor as Clear Channel was in the final stages of signing off on an easement reconsideration, allowing the township to move forward with land acquisition for the well site. The next step for the well, from an engineering aspect, is for Town Engineer Larry Bohrer to review the plans and specifications for the well.

At the Jan. 25 town board meeting, the Columbus Parent-Teacher Organization was granted township approval for a LG240B Application to Conduct Excluded Bingo at its Family Fun Night. The CPTO needed the townshipís approval before they could get county approval. The Family Fun night is scheduled for Friday, May 5.
