Scandia drive will help homeless

A drive conducted by students at Scandia Elementary School is seeking health care and winter clothing items that will be donated to the homeless in St. Paul. Students in Emily Ziemerís Grade 6 class are leading the drive. Items that the students are collecting include: ibuprofen, Advil, Aleve, childrenís pain relievers, cold products, vitamins, cough syrup, cold and flu tablets, cough drops, travel-size deodorant, sanitary pads, tampons, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoos, lotions and soaps, Vaseline and lip balm, foot care products, diapers, baby wipes, baby bottles, pacifiers, band-aids, ACE wraps, winter gloves, hats, white socks and wash clothes. Items may be donated at Scandia Elementary School, 14351 Scandia Trail N. (TH-97).
