Robyn Smith of Columbus Township placed sixth on Wednesday in the John Beargrease Sled Dog Mid-Distance Marathon with a time of 9:51:38.

Smith was one of 120 mashers in the 137.7 mile mid-distance marathon.

Smith won the race back in 2003 and has been racing for about nine years.
