'Duck Commander' draws large church crowd
Phil Robertson, The Duck Commander and the guru of serious duck hunters, brought his Christian message to Maranatha Church here Friday. And it was to the liking of many of Robertsonís ardent fans, including brothers John Royalty, 27, of Red Wing, and Jason Royalty, 22, of Monticello, right. Many of Robertson's followers turned out in duck hunting garb and painted faces. A large crowd was on hand for the church sportsman's turkey banquet, an event designed for men, women, children and duck hunters everywhere. Pastor Mike Haseltine also spoke to the gathering.
