Alpine teams split against Mounds View

In their last meet of the season, the Forest Lake High School alpine girls defeated Mounds View 31-24, bringing their final Suburban East Conference standing to 5-3. The boys ended their season with the same standing, but took a loss to Mounds View 16-39.
In the girls race, Carly Bass took first place, followed by teammates Nicky Kumerow in fourth, and Becky Keller, Erin Eagan, Allison Beebe and Nicole Janus in sixth through ninth place.
Earning points for the boys team were Brett Stolberg in fifth place, followed by Scott Brunjes, Kevin Gamelin, Erik Stolberg and Bryce Motschenbacher in seventh through 10th place.
