Wyoming's new annual fall celebration has a name. The city of Wyoming announced last week that the Sept. 30 celebration will be called Wyoming Stage Coach Celebration. The idea of the new name is courtesy of Wyoming resident Sandra Vetsch. The city asked area residents to provide suggestions for the celebration name. The Sept. 30th event will follow the 2005 community celebration that was in honor of the 150th anniversary of the settling of the Wyoming area. ó Alice Pickering, Wyoming Area Reporter
