Here is the lowdown for students interested in participating in fall sports:

Beginning on July 25, registration for 9-12 grade fall athletics will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The remaining dates will be July 27, August 1, 3, 8 and 10.

Fees and forms can be turned in at the high school office between the hours of 7:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. (those have been extended from previous listings). Forms must be downloaded from the high school website: http://hs.forestlake.k12.mn.us, and Click on the Tab titled Registration form.

Athletes are reminded to have all forms on file in the Activities Office (not given to the coach) prior to participating in any sport. A physical within the last three years is required by the Minnesota State High School League as part of the process to be eligible.

In addition to the fees for each sport there is also a $100 equipment deposit check. These should be separate from the check for the activity fee and made payable to Forest Lake High School.

There will be a mandatory meeting for all athletes and parents on August 9 at 6:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Parents and athletes will meet with the coaches to go over rules, schedules, etc.

Fall sports begin practice on August 14.
