Montzka named to budget committee
Chisago County Commissioner Ben Montzka of Wyoming has been appointed to the East Central Regional Development Commissionís Personnel and Budget Executive Committee. The appointment took place during the commissionís annual meeting on June 26 in Isanti. The personnel and budget committee functions as the executive committee for the regional development commission. The commission administers a number of federally funded programs to seniors, arts organizations and transportation projects funded by the Federal Surface Transportation Act. Montzka represents the commission on the Area Transportation Partnership which administers the Federal Surface Transportation funds for Chisago County.
