The Minnesota State Board of Assessors has awarded Kenneth A. Tolzmann of Forest Lake with the Senior Accredited Minnesota Assessor Designation. The designation is the highest awarded by the state board and demonstrates diligence and leadership. The designation brings with it the responsibility to provide an example to other assessors through the performance of high quality work and high standards, the state board said in announcing the award. The designation was received on May 23. Tolzmann, a lifelong Forest Lake area resident, is the assessor for Columbus Township and the city of East Bethel, both in Anoka County.
