Hearings to consider the petition by New Scandia Township to incorporate as a city will conclude tonight (Thursday) in Scandia. Three sessions are planned on Wednesday, July 19 and Thursday, July 20. An administrative law judge will preside over the hearings. General sessions are slated at 9:30 a.m. on July 19-20 in the New Scandia Township Board Room. Comments from the public on the incorporation proposal will be taken at 7 p.m. tonight (Thursday) in the New Scandia Township Community Room.
