Wednesday, July 12, marked the opening of Stars & Strikes Entertainment Center. After years of planning, the areaís newer, bigger, better bowling alley opened its doors to the public at 10 a.m.
The 46,000 square foot family entertainment center is located in Wyoming, at 24260 Greenway Avenue; directly south of Regal Machine in the Wyoming Business Park.
Much more than a bowling alley, Stars & Strikes features billiards, banquet rooms, party rooms, an arcade, a full-service restaurant, lounge, lazer tag, pro shop, snack bar and staged entertainment.
With a total seating capacity of 400 available throughout the Celestial Hall, Big Dipper, and Little Dipper banquet rooms, Linda LaCasse, the companyís Marketing Manager, likes what the entertainment center has to offer
ìI think itís probably the largest banquet facility in the area,î she said.
The billiards room has master-caliber tables as Stars & Strikes eyes hosting master events in the future.
Beyond the 24-lane bowling venue that has the latest in Brunswick equipment with automation, sound and light shows, the entertainment center has different events nearly every day of the week.
Texas Holdíem will take place on Monday and Wednesday nights; Karaoke on Thursday, and live music on Friday and Saturday.
Owners Nancy Immel and Mike and Betsy Rud expect bowling leagues as well as bowling clubs to take full advantage of the new facility.
Stars & Strikes Entertainment Center is open from 10 a.m. - 1 a.m., Monday through Friday; 8 a.m. - 1 a.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. - 1 a.m. on Sunday.
