Wyoming Town Board hears updates
The Wyoming Township Board somewhat set a record July 11th by getting business done in 20 minutes. It was reported the paving projects for Itasca and Heath Avenues have started and the work is moving along at a very fast pace. Residents have asked that the Blue Spruce Park be improved so it has the same quality as Goodview Park. Last year some seeding was done with some field grass coming up but some did not. The gophers and moles moved in and now the land is extremely uneven. Leveling and proper drainage needs to be done and an area on one side of the small parking lot prepared for a basketball court. The park board plans to get three estimates and have the work done before fall. A current newsletter is being prepared for print and there has been no further word from the District Court regarding the Writ of Mandamas filed by the Township. Although Judge DeCourcy said he would issue a decision in 30 days, according to law, he can take 90 days from the hearing date of May 31st. ó Jackie Lallier, Wyoming Township Reporter
