Anoka County Sheriff Bruce Andersohn has filed for reelection to a second four-year term. He is a 29-year veteran of the Anoka County Sheriffís Office. He has served as chief deputy, patrol captain, lieutenant of the criminal investigation division, and patrol sergeant deputy, both on patrol and within the jail, a 911 dispatcher and a volunteer reserve deputy. He is a graduate of the 178th session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA. He holds a BA degree in sociology from the University of Minnesota and an associate of arts degree in law enforcement from North Hennepin Community College. In filing, Andersohn says the department has accomplished much in the past four years and more opportunities and challenges are in the future.
