The next session of the CR-2 West Broadway Avenue Business Task Force is on tap this morning (Thursday) from 8-9 a.m. in Hall B at American Legion Post 225, 355 W. Broadway Ave. Topics for the meeting include a review of the background on selection of preferred alternatives for the Broadway corridor and the current layout design. Other items up for discussion include a review of landscaping, the county policy, signage along the corridor and the I-35 ramps and the project schedule. The Washington County-city of Forest Lake project is moving ahead with a plan to construct seven roundabout intersections from SW 19th St. west of I-35 to US-61 (Lake St.) in downtown Forest Lake in 2008.
