Forest Lake High School teacher and coach Bob Dettmer, Forest Lake, has filed for the Minnesota House of Representatives in District 52A. As a chief warrant officer in the Army Reserves serving on active duty in Kuwait, Dettmer said he has the leadership experience the community needs at the Capitol. ìI pride myself on a hard work ethic,î he said. ìI will work relentlessly for our communityís needs. I get a personal fulfillment from helping others.î Dettmer and his wife Colleen, are 34-year residents of Forest Lake. They are the parents of twin sons Robb and Travis who are graduates of the West Point Military Academy and officers in the U.S. Army, and daughter Krystle who is studying to be a teacher at Bethel University. District 52A includes Centerville, Columbus, Forest Lake, Hugo, Lino Lakes, Linwood and Scandia.
