Gretchen Phillips, M.D., has been named the new host of the Fairview On Call radio show. She is a family medicine specialist with Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming and a member of the Fairview Physicians Associates. Fairview On Call is a weekly radio program featuring health information, news, interviews and listener call-ins. It airs live on WCCO AM 830 at 7:30 a.m. on Sundays. Dr. Phillips replaces Maria Dahl, M.D., who recently left to join her family in Pennsylvania. A native of Madison, WI, Phillips has a varied health care background having put herself through college as a paramedic. She served as chief resident at the University of Florida's Department of Community Health and Family Medicine. As a general medical officer in the U.S. Navy, Phillips cared for members of the military, their dependents and retirees. Dr. Phillips received a letter of commendation for her Naval service work.
