Jeremy Kalin of Lindstrom will make a second bid for the Minnesota House of Representatives from District 17B. ìI am running for this seat because it is time to move past the political bickering and get the job done for our community,î he said in a statement. ìWe need to fix our roads and bridges, meet the health care crisis head-on and strengthen our schools from early childhood through college graduation. Yet, too often all we hear from St. Paul is more political bickering. And weíre all paying the bill through higher property taxes and fees.î Kalin was defeated in his bid for the House seat two years ago by Rep. Pete Nelson, R-Lindstrom. Kalin is running as the DFL candidate in the contest.
