Jane Krentz elected to MEP board

Former State Sen. Jane Krentz of May Township has been elected to a two-year term on the Minnesota Environmental Partnership Board of Directors. She was one of five new members elected on June 15. Krentz served in the Minnesota Senate for 10 years, (1993-2002). She was chair of the Senate Environment and Natural Resources Committee for two years, and chair of the Environment and Agriculture Budget Division for the two previous years. Krentz was a member of the Legislative Commission on Minnesota Resources for four years, and was appointed to serve on the LCMR Reform Committee, which reported recommendations to the 2006 Legislature. The Minnesota Environmental Partnership is a statewide coalition of 90 nonprofit conservation and environmental organizations.
