A popular and patriotic marching unit from the past two Independence Day parades in Forest Lake will return again this year. American Legion Post 225, the sponsor of the 82nd annual celebration, is inviting military personnel, both active and those serving in reserve or guard components, to form a marching unit which will occupy a prominent place near the front of the parade. A number of Gulf War veterans have responded to the call and the invitation is good again this year, according to Bob Flaherty Post 225 spokesman. ìIf theyíve got a uniform, put it on and come on out,î Flaherty says.
