Officials break ground for new county library, government center in FL
With huge earth-moving equipment as a backdrop, representatives from Washington County and area communities officially broke ground Tuesday for the new county government center and library south of 202nd St. N. in Forest Lake. Taking care of the shovel duty were, left to right: Rep. Ray Vandeveer, Hugo City Council member Becky Petryk, Hugo Mayor Fran Miron, former land owner Kay Doherty, District 1 County Commissioner Dennis Hegberg, Forest Lake Mayor Terry Smith and Forest Lake City Administrator Chip Robinson.
