With a winning record already guaranteed, the Forest Lake High School boys basketball team is now on a quest to win a section 4AAAA title.

The number four seeded Rangers hosted fifth seeded North St. Paul last Thursday. The Rangers had a 35-22 lead at the first half, and when the buzzer sounded at the end of the second half the Rangers had won 61-49.

Senior Nate Robertson led the Rangers in scoring with 24 points. Junior Josh Williams had 10 points and sophomore Ryan Brown had nine in the victory.

The win over North St. Paul advances the Rangers to the semifinals where they play number one seeded St. Paul Johnson. The other semifinal game is between Mounds View, a team the Rangers already beat this season and Stillwater.

The game between the Rangers and St. Paul Johnson was played Tuesday night after the Times deadline. Please check next weekís edition for a recap or visit www.forestlaketimes.com
