For the first time all season the Forest Lake High School boys basketball team fell below .500 when their losing streak hit six games with a loss to Roseville last Tuesday.

Roseville had a comfortable 28-20 lead at the half that stood up as they went on to win the game 61-53.

In the loss Nate Robertson scored 22 points. The next highest point total for the Rangers came from Aaron Jacobs who had seven points.

The Rangers found their winning ways and returned to .500 when they defeated Stillwater 57-42 last Thursday. In their first meeting Stillwater defeated the Rangers 55-49.

A solid 28-15 lead at the half was all the Rangers needed as they continued to out score Stillwater 29-27 in the second half.

Two Rangers hit double digits as Jacobs scored 18 points and Rob Gavanda scored 11.

The Rangers regular season finale is at 7:30 p.m. Friday night when they host White Bear Lake.
