Former State Representative Loren Jennings, 55, of Harris, on Monday, March 20th was sentenced to 48 months imprisonment on charges of two counts of mail fraud and one count of money laundering.

Jennings was also ordered to make restitution in the amount of $284,398 and to make forfeiture in the same amount. Restitution was stayed until the prosecution and defense teams get together.

Jennings was given six weeks to get his affairs in order before he has to report to the U.S. Marshall's office in Minneapolis.
