In their last Suburban East Conference game of the year the Forest Lake High School boys basketball team improved to 7-9 in conference play with a win over White Bear Lake.
An explosive first quarter where the Rangers outscored Wahite Bear Lake 32-17 set the tone for the game. When the final second ticked off the clock the Rangers had a 67-57 victory, improving their overall record to 14-12.
A 15 point night from Nate Robertson and a 14 point night from Aaron Jacobs helped the Rangers in their victory. Matt Hansmann scored nine points in the victory, while Drew Cremisino scored eight points.
Josh Williams and Corey Kuefler both scored seven points in the Rangers victory.
The Rangers open section 4AAAA play tonight at 7:30 p.m. when they host North St. Paul. The Rangers are hoping to pack the gym with Rangers fans.
