Forest Lake Floral and Garden Center, 508 S. Lake St., will sponsor a benefit plant sale in May to assist the animal rescue efforts of St. Francis of Assisi Animal Rescue. A three-day benefit is slated on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 19-21 at the garden center. During the three-day sale, the garden sale will donate a percentage of all sales to the animal rescue organization. The benefit is jointly sponsored by Forest Lake Floral and Garden Center and Roberts-Eckert Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Parking is available in the Forest Lake Floral and Roberts-Eckert Funeral Home parking lots. The funeral home lot can be reached from SW Centennial Drive.
