Eighth District Congressman James Oberstar will be at Fairview Lakes Medical Center, 5200 Fairview Blvd., Wyoming, from noon to 1 p.m., Monday, May 22, to conduct roundtable discussions with physicians and healthcare providers regarding health issues in young children. The congressman will especially discuss topics around childhood obesity, allergies and ADHD. The event will take place in Conference Room B at Fairview Lakes Medical Center. In announcing his visit to Wyoming, Oberstar said, ìI believe that the responsibility of a childís wellness lies with the entire community. Children deserve quality, affordable care whether it is inside or outside the home. They need a successful start on their education journey by being ready to enter kindergarten. Families need safe neighborhoods where physical activity is encouraged and healthy habits are engrained.î
