Chisago City Councilman Don Taylor has announced he will run for Mayor this fall. Taylor, a former Wyoming Township resident, lived in an area of the township that was annexed to Chisago City in 2005. ìThere have been numerous actions taken by past councils that have not left Chisago City with a favorable public image,î Taylor said. ìAs a current member of Chisagoís City Council, this has not only been expressed to me in conversations with other elected officials on two-separate conferences I attended this year, but also by residents in surrounding communities, and many residents I have talked to within Chisago City. I believe itís time for a change in Chisago City. I am pleased to announce my candidacy for the position of mayor of Chisago City. We need to develop working relationships of trust and support with the surrounding communities.î
