There will be an Independence Party candidate this November in the Sixth Congressional District. John Binkowski of St. Maryís Point announced last week he would enter the race. He received the Independence Party endorsement at the Sixth Congressional District Convention in late March. Binkowski launched his campaign with a press conference in the media room at the State Capitol in St. Paul on Tuesday of this week.
