The Chisago County Methamphetamine Task Force has scheduled a forum on meth 6:30-8:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 9 at the North Branch Library Conference Room. The forum will include an overview of methamphetamine law enforcement perspectives and trends in Chisago County, treatment programs and support, personal testimonies from recovering addicts, a presentation by the Improv Theatre Troupe and a question and answer time. The event is free. Along with the task force, other sponsors for the May 9 meth forum include: Hazelden Foundation, Community Partnership with Youth & families, Chisago County Sheriffís Department, North Branch Police Department, Fairview Lakes Health Services and Chisago County Public Health.
