American Legion Post 225, 355 W. Broadway Ave. will host the ìWine for the Wolvesî wine tasting benefit Friday for the Wildlife Science Center of Forest Lake. The fund-raiser is slated from 6:30-9 p.m. There will be door prizes and auction items during the wine tasting social to raise money to support the wolf center located at the Wildlife Science Center on the grounds of Carlos Avery Wildlife Management Area west of Forest Lake. The event is sponsored by MGM Wine & Spirits, Forest Lake. More than 200 select wines from MGM will be available for sampling. Those attending the event will receive a charmed wine glass to cherish and use during the event. Tickets are $35 in advance and are on sale at: MGM Wine & Spirits, 2009 W. Broadway Ave. (next to Cub Foods); Kodiak Coffee, 44 S. Lake St.; and the Wildlife Science Center. Tickets are $40 at the door Friday.
