The ISD 831 Board of Education has two special meetings on top plus its regular board meeting between now and Dec. 7. The board has called a special meeting at 6:45 p.m., Thursday, Nov., 30 to approve a Q-Comp application to the Minnesota Department of Education. The funding would be used as part of a new compensation package for teachers. The board also announced that its Truth in Taxation hearing will take place 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 5 in the media center at Forest Lake High School, 6101 Scandia Trail N. The boardís regular business meeting for December will take place at 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 7 at the District Office Building, 6100 N. 210th St.
