Norb Hulbert, Forest Lake, has been hired by ISD 831 as the new manager of the Maroon and Gold Ice Arena. He replaces Tom Moravec who resigned in late October to devote full attention to his boat building business in Wyoming. Hulbertís official start date was Nov. 1 following the school board approval last week. Hulbert is no stranger to the ice arena. He has worked at the facility for a number of years. When the facility was built by a private group in 1981, prior to the school district taking over ownership, Hulbert was hired to run the facility.
