Deborah Wall has been selected by a committee of parents, school staff and administrators to become the new director of special education in ISD 831. Wallís hiring was approved by the school board Thursday, Nov. 9. She will replace Dr. Beth Sullivan who is retiring. Wall, who will take over duties in January, is the special education director for Faribault Public Schools. She has also worked as the coordinator of special education for the Minnesota River Valley Special Education Cooperative and as a speech/language pathologist in the Stillwater and New Prague districts. ìDeb Wall will be a fine addition to our school district staff,î said Superintendent Lynn Steenblock. ìShe will continue the great work in special education that our staff now provides to the students of the Forest Lake Area School District.î
