On Thursday, Nov. 30 the new Forest Lake Affordable Housing Task Force will meet for a kick-off open house at Forest Lake City Hall from 7-9 p.m. Forest Lake Community Development Director Doug Borglund will speak, as well as a consultant dealing with the cityís comprehensive plan, Mayor Terry Smith, John Buzza from MICAH, Barbara Dacy from the Washington County HRA and Guy Peterson from the Metropolitan Council. The evening will conclude with a question and answer session and a talk by Borglund. All meetings are open to the public unless specifically stated by the city.
