Area residents rally for school levies
Students, parents and adults from communities throughout the Forest Lake Area School District gathered in Forest Lake on Saturday to rally support for Tuesday's two ballot questions to fund the schools and head off budget cuts. This group was photographed near the entrance to The Home Depot on W. Broadway Ave. Voters will be asked to renew an existing operating levy of $6.5 million a year for five years and an additional levy of $1.4 million a year for five years that will be used for improvements to student achievement.
