Forest Lake resident Judy Bull has received honors from a statewide professional organization. The Minnesota Educational Media Organization presented Bull with a Distinguished Service Award at its annual conference in Bloomington, Oct. 20-21. The award was given in appreciation of exceptional leadership and outstanding service on behalf of MEMO and K-12 education. Bull was president of the organization in 1992 and was Co-Chair of MEMOís Legislative Committee from 1993-2006. Bull also presented many conference programs and is a well-known respected voice in the Minnesota school library media profession, the organization said. Bull is a member of the Forest Lake City Council.
