Fairview Lakes Health Services has announced the hiring of two obstetrics and gynecology physicians, Julie Lin Becker, M.D., and Jennifer Peoples, M.D. Both women are now available to see patients in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic at Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming where they join ob/gyn physicians Sondra Mericle and Matthew Anderson. Dr. Becker received her bachelorís degree and medical degree from Northwestern University in Illinois. As an undergraduate, she studied abroad at the University of Sussex, Brighton, U.K. After graduating from medical school in 2001, Becker remained at Northwestern while completing her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at McGaw Medical Center. Before joining Fairview Lakes she was in private practice at Park Ridge, IL. Dr. Peoples earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1999. She completed her residency and internship in obstetrics and gynecology at Michigan State University/Spectrum Health Blodgett, St. Maryís Mercy Medical Center, Grand Rapids, MI, and comes to Fairview Lakes from Health Partners in the Twin Cities.
