More filings have been reported in the city of Wyoming. With the 14-day filing period ending this week, candidates have filed for office in the city of Wyoming and Linwood Township. In Wyoming Mayor Sheldon Anderson has filed for reelection to a second two-year term. Besides mayor, two council seats are up for election on Nov. 7. Council members serve four-year terms. Councilmen Joe Zerwas and Ted Phillips have filed for reelection to four-year terms. A third candidate is Gary Menne. In Linwood, Howard Holm has filed as a candidate for Seat A on the Linwood Town Board of Supervisors. For Seat D, Robert Johnson and Rudi McCurdy have filed. Vickie Erickson has filed for treasurer. The filing period closed Sept. 12. The Linwood Town Board will be up for election on Nov. 7 in the first fall township election. ó Alice Pickering, Linwood and Wyoming area reporter.
