Gordon W. Engquist
Gordon Wendell Engquist, CDR. U.S Navy (retired), 75, formerly of Scandia, died Tuesday, August 29, 2006.
Funeral services were held in McLean, VA on Sept. 8, with interment at Arlington National Cemetery on Nov. 17 at 1 p.m.
A local memorial service will be held on Sept. 30 at 11 a.m. at Oak Hill Farm, 15448 Paul Ave. N., Marine on St. Croix. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to the National Cancer Society.
He is survived by his wife, Aud; children, Kristine (Steven) Erickson and Annemarie Engquist; grandson, Jonathan; sister, Muriel (Kenneth) Cashin; brother, Richard (Jane Brody) Engquist; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rodney and Anna Engquist; nephew/godchild/namesake, Gordon Cashin.
