With Tuesday's special election, the town of Columbus made a huge leap toward officially becoming a city.

City Council:
Mark Walsh, 727 votes
Renae Fry, 710 votes
Dennis Peterson, 690 votes
Myron Organ, 665 votes
Dave Povolny, 246 votes
