Army Spc. Kimberly Remackel will be leaving for Iraq in mid-May and the community is invited to attend a send-off celebration for her on Sunday, April 15. From 2 to 6 p.m. area residents, family and friends are invited for food and drinks at the Forest Lake American Legion Post 225 located at 355 West Broadway Ave.

Soon after her 2005 Forest Lake High School graduation Remackel joined the Army and is now being deployed to northern Iraq.
